Prof. Ayelet Shachar's new book, The Birthright Lottery, has been featured in a story on the front page of the "Insight" section of the Saturday Toronto Star ("Born lucky? Then pay for it," May 2, 2009). The article discusses Prof. Shachar's book and proposals in detail, and concludes that "Shachar has raised the bar on the discussion of equality."

On Tuesday May 19, Dean Mayo Moran was a panelist on TVO's flagship news program The Agenda With Steve Paikin.

The subject of the program was "Demystifying the Judiciary."  The show looked to foster a better understanding of what judges do, how they are appointed, and what influences they rely on to make what are very important decisions.
