Adriana Robertson is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Law and the Head of Research & Policy at the University of Toronto Capital Markets Institute. Professor Robertson’s research focuses on the intersection of law and finance. 

Professor Robertson holds a BA from the University of Toronto (Trinity College), where she was awarded the Lorne T. Morgan Gold Medal in Economics, a PhD in Finance from the Yale School of Management, and a JD from Yale Law School, where she was on the board of the Yale Journal on Regulation and the Yale Journal of Law and Feminism. She is an Affiliated Fellow of the Information Society Project at Yale Law School. Her recent work has been featured in major media outlets including The New York TimesThe Wall Street JournalThe Globe and Mail, and The Financial TimesIn the autumn quarter of 2019, she was the Daniel R. Fischel and Sylvia M. Neil Distinguished Visiting Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Chicago Law School.
