Peter Ruby, B.Comm. (Concordia) 1990, LL.B. (Osgoode) 1994, LL.M. (Osgoode) 2000, is a litigation partner at Goodmans LLP. He has a national and international practice focused on business and information technology dispute resolution, including software, telecommunications, film, radio, television, privacy and data protection, intellectual property, ecommerce and internet litigation, arbitration, mediation and advice. Peter leads Goodmans’ IT practice group and represents both large multi-national organizations and some of Canada’s most entrepreneurial and growing IT companies.  Peter is recognized as a leading IT litigator in Chambers Global, The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and The Best Lawyers in Canada and is also recognized by Benchmark Canada: The Guide to Canada’s Leading Litigation Firms and Attorneys in the areas of international arbitration, energy and intellectual property.  Peter acted as a law clerk to the Federal Court of Canada and is a frequent speaker at industry and legal events and is the author of articles in his fields of practice.
