Jonathan Glenn Betteridge

Jonathan Glenn Betteridge, B.A. (McGill) 1989, LL.B. B.C.L (McGill) 1995, was called to the Ontario Bar in 1997. Glenn practiced in the Legal Aid Ontario community legal clinic system for almost a decade as a research lawyer (Clinic Resource Office), staff lawyer, and acting legal director (HIV & AIDS Legal Clinic Ontario, "HALCO").  As a policy analyst (Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network) and consultant he has worked in Canada and internationally in health and human rights, collaborating with people living with HIV, sex workers, prisoners, people who use drugs, NGOs, and governments.  After a year studying public health at Dalla Lana School of Public Health, he worked to speed regulatory approval and public listing of HIV and hepatitis C medication (Canadian Treatment Action Council).
