Johanna Superina:  B.A. Political Science (UofT) 1985; LL.B. (UofT) 1988; Called to the Bar in Ontario 1990.  Johanna is the Deputy Director, Enforcement Branch at the Ontario Securities Commission.  Johanna joined the Enforcement  Branch of the OSC in 1998 after practicing commercial litigation at Stikeman Elliott for 8 years.  Johanna has acted as lead counsel on a number of significant enforcement cases, including: Re: Biovail; Re: Melnyk; Re: Hollinger; Re: Watt Carmichael and Roger Rowan; Re: Piergiorgio Donnini; Re: Yorkton Securities, G. Scott Paterson et al.; Re: Livent, as well as on appeals and takeover bid matters.  Johanna has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario as well as at the Supreme Court of Canada in respect of securities related litigation.  Johanna is a frequent speaker at professional conferences on current issues in securities law and litigation.  Johanna also served as a Director of the Advocates’ Society, Canada’s largest professional organization of advocates about advocacy.
