Emily Lewsen

Emily Lewsen, BA (McGill) 2010, MA (SOAS) 2012, JD (York) 2016, was called to the Ontario bar in 2017. She is an associate at Ursel Phillips Fellows Hopkinson LLP, where she practices criminal defence at the appellate and trial levels, and union-side labour law. She has worked as a copy editor for various legal publications and, since 2019, she teaches Legal Research and Writing at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. Emily also volunteers with Downtown Legal Services as duty counsel at Summary Convictions Appeals Court.
