Alexander Stack, B.Sc. (Queen’s) 1993, M.S.Ch.E. (Purdue) 1995, J.D. (Toronto) 1998, LL.M. (NYU) 2003, S.J.D. (Toronto) 2008, was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2000.  He has practiced in the field of intellectual property and commercial law for the last twenty years, and is a registered patent and trademark agent in both Canada and the United States. He provides strategic advice on all aspects of intellectual property, including prosecution and portfolio management and licensing matters, in the pharmaceutical, hi-tech and cleantech industries. He is the author of International Patent Law: Cooperation, Harmonization and an Institutional Analysis of WIPO and the WTO (2011) and the co-author of Calculating Monetary Remedies in Intellectual Property Cases in Canada (2018).
