The Toronto Group for International, Transnational and Comparative hosts an annual conference for faculty and

students from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law and Osgoode Hall Law School. This year marks the 10th

anniversary of the Toronto Group. In order to celebrate the occasion and as part of this year's annual

conference, Prof. Balakrishnan Rajagopal from MIT will be delivering a keynote speech on Friday, April 28.

The theme of this year's conference is "Advancing International Law in Global Society". We ask what the future of

international law could be in resolving divisions within global society. We aim to re-imagine the practice of international

law as, above all, a space for reconciliation, collective action and robust participation – one that responds to and is

inclusive of critical, but neglected voices. This event will be open for attendance to the greater

U of T and Osgoode communities.
