Prior to joining the firm, Jeff was an associate at entertainment law firms in Toronto and Los Angeles, where he represented production companies, financiers, distributors, broadcasters, and talent (actors, writers, and directors) in connection with the development, financing, production, and distribution of film, television, and new media projects.

Geoffrey has experience representing a broad range of issuers, asset managers, investment dealers and portfolio managers, private equity and venture capital sponsors, as well as alternative finance platforms and portals (robo-advisors, peer-to-peer lenders, crowdfunding) offering access to diverse asset classes and alternative products including private equity, venture capital, hedge, real estate, private debt and digital tokens/currencies.

Rebecca Cochrane practises corporate law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and private equity. Rebecca has experience in both public and private M&A and corporate finance transactions, and works with a number of start-up clients.

Rebecca has worked with clients in a range of sectors, including technology, asset management and cannabis.

Prior to joining the firm, Rebecca worked in the legal department of one of Canada’s largest investment fund companies and also worked as a researcher for a mergers and acquisitions boutique in Toronto.
