The Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Society offers students opportunities to learn about ADR and legal career paths in ADR. Through a variety of hands-on and interactive events, the ADR Society offers students the opportunity to learn basic mediation skills from experienced ADR practitioners.

Activities and Opportunities

In the first term, the ADR Society will run its third annual Mediation Advocacy Workshop, in which students will receive an introduction to the mediation process before participating in mock mediations led by practitioners. In the second term, ADR Society will host a Speaker Panel, during which several professionals working in mediation or arbitration will discuss their careers. Throughout the year, students can sign up to shadow a mediator (in law firms and government) through the ADR in Action program. Stay tuned for information about these and other events.
