Family creates memorial Stephanie Fleur Couzin Fund for Mooting

The University of Toronto Faculty of Law extends its deepest sympathies to the family and friends of our alumna Stephanie Fleur Couzin, JD 2009, who passed away suddenly on January 28, 2012.

She was a much loved associate at the firm Lenczner Slaght.

Laskin, president of the Law Alumni Association Council, is pleased to announce that Sarah Corman ’03 and Benjamin Perrin ’05, two very accomplished young alumni, will be this year’s recipients of the Wilson-Prichard Award for Community and Professional Service. Sarah’s commitment as a mentor, extensive pro bono work and dedicated service to the YWCA has earned her the respect and high regard of her peers. Benjamin’s ongoing campaign against human trafficking started during his undergraduate years and has continued through his work as a professor at UBC.

Ronald G. Slaght '70 received his Law Society Medal Alumnus Ronald G. Slaght, Q.C., '70, recognized by the legal community as one of Canada's pre-eminent litigation lawyers, was awarded a Law Society Medal on May 25, 2011.
