(May 17, 2011) Faculty of Law graduate and New York philanthropist Pamela Nadler Emmerich, LLB 1981, will receive an honorary fellowship from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem on June 11, 2012, at the university’s 75th International Board of Governors meeting and annual convocation.

SJD student lands celebrated Trudeau Scholarship

(May 15, 2012) SJD student and alumnus Michael Pal has received a 2012 Trudeau Foundation Scholarship, considered the most prestigious doctoral award in Canada. The scholarship, a $60,000 grant given annually for three years, recognizes and supports outstanding social sciences and humanities doctoral students “who are focused on researching and sharing innovative ideas that will help solve the issues of critical importance to Canadians.”

Steven Hoffman '10(April 26, 2012) Alumnus Steven Hoffman has been pretty busy since graduating from the University of Toronto in 2010 with his JD and MA in political science. Currently pursuing a PhD in health policy and governance at Harvard University and a doctorate in law at the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris, Hoffman is gearing up for a fascinating summer job in New York City.
