Tatjana Hörnle

Tatjana Hörnle, lawyer (both German state exams), M.A. Criminal Justice (Rutgers University) 1993, PhD (Munich), 1999, is Full Professor for Penal Law, Penal Procedure, Legal Philosophy and Comparative Law at the Law Faculty, Humboldt-University, Berlin. Professor Hoernle's main research interests are penal theory, sentencing, sexual offences, human rights and penal law, and comparative penal law. She has previously taught at Munich University, University of Cambridge and the Ruhr-University Bochum.
