Adjunct Professor

Robert Raizenne is a partner in the Montreal office of Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP. He has extensive experience in a wide variety of commercial transactions and tax planning matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and restructurings, corporate finance and trusts. Robert also has significant experience relating to tax disputes and resulting tax litigation. He is currently an Adjunct Professor of Taxation at McGill University’s Faculty of Law. He has also taught tax at the University of Toronto and participated in Osgoode’s Professional LLM in Taxation Law programmeA sought-after speaker and commentator on tax topics, he has presented frequently at conferences sponsored by various professional organizations and associations, including the Canadian Tax Foundation and the Canadian chapter of the International Fiscal Association. He is a past president of the Canadian branch of the International Fiscal Association and is a member of both the Bar of Quebec and the Law Society of Ontario.
