Adjunct Professor

M. Paul MichellB.A. (McGill) 1990, LL.B. (Toronto) 1994, B.C.L. (Oxford) 1995, Ontario Bar 1997, is a partner at Lax O’Sullivan Lisus Gottlieb LLP. His practice focuses on complex commercial arbitration and litigation, shareholder rights, appeals and judicial review. He has extensive experience in the Ontario and Federal courts, the Supreme Court of Canada, and before a variety of administrative and arbitral tribunals.  He was law clerk to Mr. Justice Charles Gonthier, Supreme Court of Canada, and is adjunct professor, Faculty of Law, University of Toronto. Some of his more than 25 articles have been cited by the Supreme Court of Canada, High Court of Australia, and International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
