Martha MacDonald, BA (McGill) 2000, JD (Toronto) 2004, called to the Bar of Ontario 2005.  Ms. MacDonald has been an associate in the tax department of Osler Hoskin & Harcourt LLP since 2005.  She practices tax litigation before the Tax Court of Canada, Federal Court of Appeal and Ontario Superior Court of Justice, as well as dispute resolution with the Canada Revenue Agency.  Martha has been involved with tax issues including transfer pricing, tax avoidance, foreign tax credits, residence for tax purposes, taxable employment benefits, and goods and services tax, in addition to a range of administrative and procedural matters specific to the tax area.  Martha was cited by the International Tax Review in World Tax 2010 and was short-listed as a Rising Star in the inaugural Euromoney Americas Women in Business Law Awards 2012.  While attending the Faculty of Law, Ms. MacDonald participated in the International Human Rights Program and the Work in Japan Program.  E-mail: mmacdonald@osler.com.
