Laura Zizzo is founding partner of Zizzo Allan Climate Law LLP. A innovative law firm dedicated to Climate Change law and policy. She is a lawyer and environmental advisor with over a decade of experience dealing with environmental and legal issues related to climate change. She has experience working on complex environmental transactions and litigation as well as drafting and negotiating emissions trading contracts. Laura enjoys providing strategic advice to clients related to sustainability, climate change, carbon offsets and related matters. She has been intimately involved in international climate negotiations, including participating in UN Framework Convention on Climate Change negotiations for the past four years, helping stakeholders understand and participate in the negotiations. She is co-chair of the Climate Change Lawyers Network, a member of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) committee on Environmental Law, the Canadian Bar Association and is a volunteer presenter for The Climate Project – Canada. She has a degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and a law degree from the University of Toronto. Laura is called to the Bar of Ontario.
