Katherine Gruspier

Dr. Katherine Gruspier, BA (Laurier) 1984, MA (Sheffield) 1985, Ph.D. (Toronto) 1999, JD (Toronto) 2004, is an Adjunct Professor of Forensic Science at the University of Toronto at Mississauga and a consultant in forensic anthropology to the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario. At UTM she teaches a number of courses including; Introduction to Forensic Science, Evidence Law and Forensic Science, and Miscarriages of Justice and Forensic Science. Dr. Gruspier has held appointments as a forensic anthropologist for the United Nations Transitional Administration in East Timor, as a member of the Canadian Forensic Investigation Team to Kosovo, and has also conducted fieldwork in Cambodia, Jordan, Italy and Israel. She recently contributed a research paper to the Inquiry into Pediatric Forensic Pathology in Ontario.
