Adjunct Professor

Guy Pratte is a partner and Chairman Emeritus of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. He graduated from the University of Western Ontario and obtained both his Masters of Arts in Philosophy and his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Toronto. Called to the Bar of Ontario in 1984 and to the Québec Bar in 2002, Mr. Pratte specializes in civil litigation with an emphasis on commercial litigation, injunctions, administrative law and constitutional law. He appears regularly in the Supreme Court of Canada. Mr. Pratte is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a Director of the Advocates’ Society. He has represented Former Prime Minister Brian Mulroney, and is currently representing the Law Society of Upper Canada; the Speaker of the House of Commons; JTI-MacDonald; Canadian National Railway and Canadian Pacific Railway.
