Eric K. Gillespie practices civil litigation and administrative law with an emphasis on environmental issues.  He graduated with Distinction from the University of Western Ontario Law School in 1994.  He articled in part with the Canadian Environmental Law Association.  Since then he has appeared before all levels of Ontario courts and a wide variety of administrative tribunals including the Environmental Review Tribunal, the Ontario Municipal Board and at the Walkerton Water Inquiry.  Since 2009, he has been the principal of Eric K. Gillespie Professional Corporation, a downtown Toronto litigation boutique firm whose clients include corporations, municipalities, developers as well as NGOs, ratepayer and community organizations across Ontario and in Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.  The firm is best known for its work on Pearson now Smith v. Inco, the largest certified environmental class action in Canada to date.
