Emma Rhodes

Emma Rhodes, B.A. (McGill) 1997, LL.B. (Osgoode Hall) 2000, was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002. She currently practices exclusively in the area of criminal defence work as a sole practitioner in Toronto. Over the years Emma has focused in YCJA defence work and represents clients in both the Ontario and Superior Courts of Justice. She continues to act as an instructor for the Trial Advocacy course at Ogoode Hall Law School. She has presented on the YCJA to Legal Aid Ontario alongside the Hon. Justice Brian Weagant. She was also a panel member presenting to the Law Society of Upper Canada on “Evidentiary Challenges for Criminal Lawyers” (2011) and presented at York University on the topic of a “Restorative Approach to Gangs, Guns and Violence” (2010) for Peace Builders International.
