Called to the bar of Ontario 1999; called to the bar of New York, 2002; called to the bar of EDNY and SDNY 2004; called to the bar of Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, 2004. Dominique is Vice Chair and Toronto Managing Partner at Bennett Jones. In addition to her role as Managing Partner, Dominique is the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group leader. Her practice emphasizes pharmaceutical litigation and trademark prosecution and litigation, and involves litigating and negotiating and structuring settlements of all types of intellectual property disputes. She is consulted on regulatory, trademark, copyright and patent matters, including in the course of corporate mergers, acquisitions, restructuring and joint ventures. Dominique also assists in due diligence and IP matters on technology deals and works on consumer and retail product, pharmaceutical and biotechnology-specific commercial matters.

Before joining Bennett Jones, Dominique practised for three years at a major law firm in New York where she provided litigation and counselling services to pharmaceutical and consumer products companies in the areas of patents, trade secrets, and false advertising, with a particular focus on Hatch-Waxman Act and Medicare Modernization Act patent litigation. She previously practised at a prominent law firm in Ottawa, advising on pharmaceutical regulatory matters and practising in the areas of patent, trademark and copyright litigation and trademark prosecution.
