Barry Weintraub

Barry Weintraub, B.A. (Toronto) 1984, LLB (Toronto) 1987 was called to Ontario Bar in 1989.  He is a partner and practices commercial, environmental and employment litigation at Rueter Scargall Bennett LLP in Toronto.  He has extensive advocacy experience and has appeared in all levels of courts and in several administrative tribunals.  Mr. Weintraub has previous teaching experience as a sessional lecturer at Queen’s University Faculty of Law and in the Bar Admission Course.  He began his career at Stikeman Elliott, articling with Justice John Sopinka prior to his appointment to the Supreme Court of Canada, practised at Genest Murray from 1994-2000, Heenan Blaikie from 2000-2008 and has been with Rueter Scargall Bennett since 2008.
