Sessional Lecturers

The Faculty relies on sessional instructors to fill vacancies caused by faculty teaching relief and other absences, which can occur at any time.  Because we have a multitude of talented alumni, we are usually able to call on our partners in the local legal community to meet our teaching needs.  On very rare occasions, we rely on sessional lecturers who are not licensed practitioners. If you are interested in being considered as a sessional instructor, please send an application to the Associate Dean care of Cathy Alzner at associatedean.law@utoronto.ca, or mail your application materials to her at the Office of the Associate Dean/University of Toronto, Faculty of Law, 201 Falconer Hall/84 Queen’s Park/Toronto, Ontario M5S 2C5.  Decisions for establishing courses for the following academic year are made during the Spring Term.  Preference in hiring will be given to qualified persons holding the the rank of Sessional Lecturer II and Sessional Lecturer III.  This notice is posted pursuant to the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 collective agreement.
