All LLM candidates must write a thesis under the supervision of a graduate faculty member.

Coursework intensive LLM students must write a 4 credit thesis of approximately 50 pages (approximately 15,000 words).

Thesis intensive LLM students must write a 16 credit thesis of approximately 150 pages (approximately 45,000 words).

Evaluation
The thesis will be graded by the faculty supervisor on the Graduate Grading Scale.
